We are a group of change-making teenagers from Delhi-NCR (India) aspiring to bring positive change, lead the fight for gender equality, and carry the message of Girl Up forward.

Meet Girl Up

Girl Up is a movement to advance girls’ skills, rights, and opportunities to be leaders. It is an initiative under the United Nations Foundation, started in 2010. Girl Up guides and champions girls along their journey from leader to change-maker with specialized programming on global gender issues and in organizing, advocacy, fundraising, and communication.

We joined the movement in May 2020!

Girl Up Songbird was started in May 2020 as an attempt to be the voice for social change and  to help in eliminating barriers through sensitivity and awareness, and educate others about gender-related issues through social and community building activities.
